Young Wood volunteering: Wednesday 24th October 2012

A day of volunteering at Young Wood community woodland.

There will be a number of different jobs to do over the day, mostly in preparation for the Young Wood Open Days on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October.

Over the season we will be improving the site facilities for use by groups spending time in the forest for bushcraft and woodcrafts.  We are aiming to improve habitats for wildlife and lay the foundations for traditional management of this woodland into the future.  All tools and instruction provided.

Please let us know if you are able to attend.
